One Hot Grandma!!!

Sorry I have been out of touch this week... I know both of my followers were so upset. :) I have been riding around in a car in Arizona with my 85 year old grandmother and my mother. We visited the Grand Canyon and dashed over to Phoenix for some shopping.
What I have realized is that no matter your age you can still have STYLE. My grandma is a prime example! She is what I like to call a Classy chic, She knows how to dress her age without looking dowdy, frumpy or boring. She is excited about the new trends but still has her mind on straight when it comes to dressing her age.
So onto the Sale stuff... we did some outlet shopping! I was pleasantly surprised to walk in to Juicy Couture Outlet and find sandals and flats for around 15 dollars. I also found a shirt that was missing one tiny button that had originally been 134 something and I got it for 11.99 because of that missing button. So ANOTHER RULE I would encourage all my shopaholics to do is to check out those items that are on the damaged rack because you could find something SO cute for SO cheap. The point is never think you are too good to look out the sale or damaged racks because even if you have a good amount of money wouldn't you rather have more for your money.

Saturday Shopping

So like many of you I used to be a Saturday shopper until I found out something incredible.... The sale actually starts Thursday or Friday, and if you get there like me on one of those nights you are usually around the first one to head straight toward the SALE racks... Yes my friends, don't bail on Sale. Belk for instance usually has their clearance rack at 50% off then they do an extra 30% one weekend, extra 40% off the next weekend and the best weekend EVER... 50% with an EXTRA 50% off. This is the week that I go on Thursday... So my advice my little huntresses stay abreast of the stores' typical sales. Also, and only if you can take be grown-up and not overcharge, I would recommend that you sign up for a store credit card. (Though I do LOVE to shop, I make sure that I don't go over my budget, and if I do I will return the items purchased... with a frown, but still I return them!) Ok, so get a credit card, make sure you pay it off every month and reap the rewards! and honestly, those sweet customer service people aren't lying their really are benefits to having a card, but only to those that can have one with going into debt. SHOP SMART, BUY HAPPY!!!!- made that up!

Musts of Shopping

My dear friends: I wanted to include some important information for those that say they don't like to shop... I think this is probably because you are not very good at it. OUCH! Sorry if that hurt but I am thinking you don't like it because you are not ever finding the PRIZE! By the prize, I mean... Finding something you REALLY want for a price you like!!!!!well let me just give you an example, I found a pair of Joe's Jeans which were priced at $138.00 for $16.99 today.. and yes that was just today!
Sorry to say but the problem with most of you is you are afraid to go to the SALE racks and look through them. I have walked to numerous sales racks thinking there was NO way I would find a prize, but I usually come away with a sweet deal. So Rule #1: Look through the sale racks people!
